Job description

The driver will report to the frontline manager for daily tasks.

Key responsibilities include:
Safe deliveries and collections to clients and suppliers in the light O'MAGE motor vehicle as scheduled by the O'MAGE reception staff;
Occasional requests to drive a heavy vehicle for O'MAGE shoots and events;
To adhere to the rules and regulations in terms of the Road Traffic Act at all times;
Light loading and off-loading of collections and deliveries from the O'MAGE motor vehicle;
Completion of delivery notes in conjunction with reception;
Ensuring receiving-end authorisation from clients and suppliers;
Striving to reach top results and doing well in the selected learnership;

Requirements

The position requires the individual to have the following certifications/experience:

• Current driver's licence - light motor vehicle code EB (code 08);
• Current driver's licence - heavy vehicle code C1 (code 10 or 14);
• Valid PDP Licence;
Two years previous experience as a driver
Communicate fluently in English (verbally and in writing);
Excellent English spelling and grammar;
Good organisational skills;
Minimum matric certificate.

Advantageous

An advantage, but not required: Motorbike licence - code A

Personal Skills/Attributes

The driver position requires the individual to be courteous, well groomed and well-mannered as this position is seen as the first line of interaction with O'MAGE's clients and suppliers.

The position may require the individual to occasionally work overtime. It is also preferable that this individual abstains completely from alcohol.

This person must want to grow into a greater position within the company.
